Radio Marconi finalista all' InAVation Awards 2013
The Radio Marconi team is delighted to be as a finalist in the “Most InAVative Leisure & Entertainment Facility” category at the InAVation Awards 2013, for the interactive multimedia seatback system integrated into the Royal Opera House in Muscat.
The venue has been projected to compete with the main international theaters and concert halls. Both the interior finishes quality and the technologies adopted must meet with these challenging and advanced standards.
The Royal Court of Affairs (RCA) of the Sultanate of Oman has called for worldwide competing for the design and installation of the most advanced and reliable technology for seat-backs available with a high level of customization.
The venue is intended and designed to entertain while spreading culture: the requested innovation offers the community means and chances to “participate” and feel engaged, to receive and understand contents: video for those who can’t easily watch the event, subtitle and multi-language transcripts for those who can’t overcome sound or language barriers. In simpler words, it provides an enhanced way to “experience” in contexts where messages and feelings are the ultimate metrics to evaluate usefulness and impact on society.
